Which hospitals could Yorkshire T&O trainees work in?

The Deanery is split into North Yorkshire and South Yorkshire

North Yorkshire : Leeds (MTC), Bradford, Pinderfields (Wakefield), Calderdale & Huddersfield, Airedale, Harrogate, York, Hull (MTC), Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Scarborough

South Yorkshire: Sheffield (MTC), Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster

What is the average placement duration?

Usually 1 year at a hospital, sometimes 6 months or 18 months. 

What is the usual deanery teaching?

Weekly: Friday afternoons, 2-5pm.

What educational events does the deanery run?

3 FRCS mock exams per year: Hull Mocks, Pinderfields Mocks, Harrogate Mocks.

What deanery-wide events are organized each year?

Yearly Fitton conference (North Yorkshire trainees). 2-3 Ridings Meetings per year (featuring research of different centres).
